Han Mu Cheol, aka ‘K-Scrooge’, the owner of Daewoon Building, believes that money is everything in the world. Mu Cheol, who is more obsessed with making money than with his family, is rich enough to own several buildings, but he is a miser who trembles at the thought of 100 won, and his speciality is spewing venom at people.

One day, when he is desperate to have even a little more, misfortune begins to strike. Kim Dae Sik was Mu Cheol’s high school classmate and rival but is currently Mu Cheol’s tenant. Dae Sik, who runs a chicken restaurant on the first floor of the Daewoon Building with his wife, is a K-father who is devoted to his family and is united with love and trust despite having nothing.

However, when his evil landlord and friend, Mu Cheol, raises the deposit, he faces the risk of bankruptcy. Choi Gyu Tae is a friend of Mu Cheol and Dae Sik and the president of Ildeung Real Estate. Gyu Tae is a clever sage and good at flattery. He is grateful to Mu Cheol for entrusting him with all the buildings, but he also has a lot to gain. After his wife passed away, he raised his son Min Yong alone, but he suddenly faces a big obstacle when he needs money for his son’s heart surgery.
